Brief — Interview-Day Briefing
ES Reference: Phase 2 (INTOS-ES-P2-001) Kit 2.0 Brief Section · Phase 3 (INTOS-ES-P3-001) Interview-Day Brief, Section 9
Overview
The Interview-Day Brief is a consolidated, mobile-friendly, last-minute preparation summary designed for the hours before your interview. It pulls the most critical information from your Interview Kit 2.0 into a scannable, no-anxiety format — messages, stories, risks, questions, company facts, logistics, and a confidence routine.
The brief is never a hidden recording or assistance tool. It is a static preparation document, not an active interview aid.
Key Principles
- Concise and mobile-usable — designed for phone review on the go
- Consolidates, doesn't add — every item comes from an existing kit section or evidence record
- No recording or hidden assistance — this is a static document, not an active tool
- Customizable sections — choose what appears in your brief
- Offline-capable — download/print for access without connectivity

UX Rules
- Brief is always clearly labeled as a preparation document — not an interview aid
- Never activates recording, microphone, or any hidden functionality
- Mobile layout is the default design target — desktop is secondary
- Maximum scroll depth should be reachable in 2-3 minutes
- Critical items (key messages, top stories) appear first, no scrolling required
- "Confidence routine" section is empowering, not anxiety-inducing
- No countdown timers, pressure messaging, or urgency cues
Anti-Patterns
- NOT a live interview assistance tool — no recording, no real-time feedback
- NOT a replacement for full kit review — it's a summary, not the complete kit
- NOT a script to memorize — stories are prompts, not word-for-word scripts
- No new content generation — the brief consolidates existing kit content; it doesn't create new material
