Career Truth
Career Truth is the single, canonical record of your career facts — your current title, skills, and years of experience. Every fact is backed by an evidence item in your Career Vault, and where your sources disagree, the page says so plainly instead of silently picking one.
What you see
The page shows your confirmed career facts:
- Current title — the role you actually hold right now.
- Skills — the skills your evidence supports, each linked to the evidence that backs it.
- Experience — years of experience, and the roles that add up to it.
Every fact card lists the evidence behind it (a resume upload, a verified story, a job offer). You can open that evidence from the card.
Conflicts
When two pieces of evidence disagree (for example, one resume says "Software Engineer" and another says "Senior Software Engineer"), the conflicting item appears as an UNRESOLVED conflict — it is never silently merged or discarded.
To resolve it you confirm the fact you believe is true, or edit the evidence that is wrong. Until you act, the page keeps showing the conflict as pending. There is always exactly one resolved value per fact.
Why it matters
Career Truth is the foundation the rest of the product reads from — opportunity scoring, job-search analysis, and career representation all reference these confirmed facts, not a free-text field you typed once.
