Aggregate Learning Consent
Aggregate Learning Consent is where you decide whether your anonymized data may power peer benchmarks — like Career Benchmarks. It is always your choice, and it defaults to off.
How it works
The page has one clear switch per purpose:
- Benchmarking — allow your anonymized, aggregated data to be included in cohort insights that compare similar peers (e.g. "how many applications to a first interview").
Consent is stored for each purpose, and you can see exactly what you have consented to at any time.
The rules
- Off by default — until you explicitly grant it, nothing of yours is used.
- No dark patterns — the page never nudges, pre-checks, or hides the choice.
- Revocable — revoke at any time; your data stops being eligible for new snapshots.
- Fail-closed — if there is any ambiguity about your consent, the answer is no.
What consent is NOT
Consenting to benchmarking never exposes personal facts — no names, roles, or employers are shown to anyone. Benchmarks are aggregated and suppressed below a minimum sample, so your data is only ever a drop in a statistically meaningful pool.
