Network Actions
Network Actions are the warm paths into a company — the people you know, the introductions you ask for, and the outcomes that come back. It turns "I know someone there" into a trackable, honest workflow.
Record a contact
For an opportunity, you can record an access path: a person you know at the company and the strength of the connection — a known contact, a second-degree connection, or a cold approach. Each path lists the person, their role and company, and your notes.
Act on it
Once a contact is recorded, you can take network actions:
- Request an introduction — a warm ask to open a door.
- Record a referral — log that a referral actually happened.
Each action has a clear state (active, completed) and a reason. The page offers the action that is genuinely available to you — it never invents an introduction you have not asked for.
Track the outcome
When a referral or introduction completes, you can record the outcome:
- Response type — what actually happened (e.g. referral recorded, screen scheduled).
- Relationship quality — how the connection went, which only you can judge.
Outcomes are factual records, dated, and linked to the exact action and opportunity. They feed your Career Journey timeline so your outreach story stays complete.
Privacy
A contact you enter is private to you — other users never see your network, and you never see theirs.
