This Privacy Policy explains how Job OS processes digital personal data for users in India and how you can exercise privacy choices.
1. Data we process
We may process account details such as email and name; resume and job-description content; profile and target-role information; practice audio, transcripts, evaluations, and corrections when you enable practice; billing identifiers and subscription status; support requests; security logs; and limited usage metadata.
2. Why we process it
We use data to create accounts, provide interview preparation, store and retrieve user content, process payments, secure the service, respond to requests, prevent abuse, measure reliability, and comply with law. Optional analytics or recommendation improvement must be separately disclosed and controlled.
3. Providers and transfers
Data may be processed by Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; DeepSeek and/or NVIDIA NIM for configured AI generation; Tavily for permitted research; and configured hosting, email, payment, and observability providers. Processing locations, retention, and provider terms may differ. We do not sell personal data.
4. AI and sensitive data
Do not upload Aadhaar, PAN, passwords, health information, biometric information, or another person's confidential data. Audio practice requires a separate consent flow. AI providers are instructed through our configuration and vendor terms; never upload data you are not authorized to share.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for the stated purpose, security, legal obligations, dispute handling, or your selected practice-retention option. You may request export, correction, or deletion at privacy@forgejobs.in. Deletion may leave narrowly scoped audit or legally required records.
6. Security
We use access controls, owner scoping, encrypted transport, storage controls, signed URLs, audit events, and worker safeguards. No system is risk-free. Report suspected compromise immediately to privacy@forgejobs.in or grievance@forgejobs.in.
7. Your choices and complaints
You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, or information about processing. We may verify identity before responding. Complaints can be sent to privacy@forgejobs.in and grievance@forgejobs.in with enough detail to investigate.
8. Children
Job OS is intended for adults and requires an 18+ confirmation for account creation. If you believe a minor's data was submitted, contact grievance@forgejobs.in so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We publish the current version and effective date on this page. For privacy questions, contact privacy@forgejobs.in. This policy should be reviewed by Indian counsel against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules.
